You are codially invited to adventure in Wonderland.

"In a mad world, only the mad are sane, yet sanity walks among us, and Alice is its name"

Go down the rabbit-hole and into a land where sanity is turned upside down and dreams inside-out. When Alice appears a ripple of unease spreads through Wonderland. Can the strange inhabitants of this curious world accept this little girl of sound mind? In SuTCo's mixed media production of Lewis Carroll's classic tale Alice will certainly adventure in Wonderland, but What will wonderland make of Alice?

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland  by Lewis Carroll

Adapted by Malaika Cunningham

Director's Note:

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland  is very much about imagination. Everyone has images in their head of Wonderland's weird and wonderful inhabitants. This is one of the things that has made this experience so exciting; people's ideas of Wonderland are so infinite, chaotic and varied. For some it is a nightmarish world, for others it is a sort of heaven. it is the sheer scope of interpretation that makes Lewis Carroll's stories of Alice such classic and personable tales.

Deciding to do Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was an easy choice, and its rich characters and the sheer scale of creative potential has allowed for the plethora of talent that has flooded toward this project since its conception. This is something this show has been incredibly blessed with: the enthusiastic and incredibly talented design team. Thank you all so, so much.

I would also like to thank the cast for their commitment and imagination in breathing life into each of these iconic and challenging roles. You should all be so proud.

Finally, I would like to thank the production team, without whom this show could never have moved beyond 'idea'. Tom and Katy, you have both been a joy to work with and a pleasure to spend time with. And my dear fried Sarah, who has been on board since about 15 minutes after I thought of doing Alice, an absolute asset, without whom this show would never have evenmade it to proposals, thank you.
