Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller

25th - 28th February 2015, Drama Studio

Arthur Miller’s modern classic tragedy is an examination of the painful reality of the American dream, and the inescapable clutch of materialism that joins it side-by-side.
A failure in his own career, Willy Loman desperately seeks to attain a sense of accomplishment through his two sons, Biff and Happy, and subconsciously blames his wife Linda for all his shortcomings despite her unwavering loyalty. As his grip on reality loosens Willy’s past returns to haunt him, and his loss of meaning in life becomes the struggle for meaning through death.
